Heath Stallings
Heath Stallings is a husband, dad and a church member who has a serious heart condition requiring a transplant.
February 8, 2016
Please be in prayer for this family as they go through this time in their lives.  Heath entered the hospital on February 1 and was placed at the top of the transplant list for two weeks in hopes of a heart during that time.  If one does not come available Heath will undergo open heart surgery to implant a mechanical heart pump.  Heath will be at Integris Baptist Hospital in OKC on the heart floor in ICU during these two weeks.
UPDATE May 16, 2016
We want to thank our church family for all your help and past prayers.  Continue to pray for Heath.  His lungs are at 45% and heart is stable.  More tests on May 23.  He will be in Integris Baptist Hosptial in OKC to repair pace maker leads and CT scan to find out why lung function is low.  Heath is tired-weak and needs continued prayer,
UPDATE May 2, 2016
Heath is home from the hospital after having his procedure done.  He is doing as well as can be expected.  He is still on the waiting list for a heart.
UPDATE February 11, 2016
Heath came home from the OKC hospital late last week. They’ve decided to put a device in him that is considered a bridge to a heart transplant. It will improve his heart function and can last for years if necessary while he waits for a heart transplant. He will have this surgery on Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
UPDATE February 16, 2016
Heath had the LVAD surgery  to implant the bridge device.  He will be in the hospital for 1 month recovering.  This is the address to the hospital for any words of encouragement:
Integris Baptist Hospital
ICU 801, room 6
3300 NW Expressway
Oklahoma City, OK  73112

UPDATE February 25, 2016

Working hard to breath. Oxygen is dropping. They adjusted the LVAD and pacemaker, put him back on primercor drip and on oxygen. But he still is experiencing oxygen drop, so his pressures aren’t right in his heart. That meaning the blood flow in and out of heart. Lungs are not keeping up. His left mitral valve is open and not working. Not sure if it will ever work again. Something happen yesterday with his left side stomach area in huge pain. Doesn’t let up.  Doing an ultrasound to see where the pain is coming from.
