"Single with a Purpose" is the name that now defines the Singles Ministry at FBC in Greenwood. The group is co-ed, made up of singles from the community without regard to religious affiliation or marital status (may or may not have ever been married). We are always open to new singles and are also affiliated with
River Valley Christian Singles.
Some activities include: a 9:15 a.m. Sunday Bible Study, a 6:00 p.m. Wednesday fellowship time (games and food), a 6:30 p.m. Wednesday Divorce Care Class and "Friday Nights Out" every Friday. We meet at a different restaurant weekly with times and places posted on this web- site. Monthly, we get together for bowling, volleyball, cook-outs, and more fun. We have adopted the Hope, AR Migrant Mission Center for our 2004 mission project. Our gals gather material, make and take baby quilts. Our guys participate in Single Outreach Services (S.O.S.) the second Saturday of every month as our part of reaching single parents in the river valley area. They help provide free oil changes and food to single working parents.
Our goal is to grow more Christ-like daily as we support and encourage one another.
